I never knew the pain of having a bony ass. Until today when I went snowboarding. Ohhh. I wish I had more cushion. You know, for the cushion. Both of my cheeks are bruised. They're as swollen as getting wisdom teeth removed, only whatever the ass equivalent of that is.
As I traveled through the mountains on the way to big bear, I was reminded about Ray and her death, things that are greater than us and beyond our control.
My brother was flipping through his terrible song collection, and he was trying to get me to guess the singer and title of each song. Since I'm a fan of trivia games, I decided to play along and we happened to run across "Nothing's gonna stop us now." I guessed Jefferson Airplane, and that it was also played in the movie, Mannequin, and his girlfriend just kept getting more and more excited. "yes! YES!" Exact words. So I may approve of her relationship with my brother, if only for an obscure, good movie that hardly anyone recognizes these days. Well, good in the fact that it was a childhood film, and who doesn't remember the movies that influenced them as a kid? What was YOUR kid flick?
Also coming soon: illustrated events of having my ass handed to me in snowboarding.
Also watched Juno on dvd. Not bad. It felt like an attempt at a sun dance version of Knocked Up though (not that I have seen Knocked Up), and I had no idea that girl played kitty pryde in x-men 3.
