ugh, 6 people got better scores than me on the first exam. in my other class, the mean was a 7.4/15 for the 1st quiz. you have got to be kidding me. the mean's set at a C+/B-. he even gave everyone 2 extra points and people only manage to get the mean. i guess i shouldn't complain since that benefits me.
cover letter- check. email stating interest- check. resume/cv- check. guess i should get started.

that's dooney and bourke, an accessories maker. they're considered a mid-market accessories brand. the company is currently embroiled in a number of legal difficulities, largely surrounding a not-so-subtle copy of the louis vuitton murakami bag. (they also make a bag that uses the same monogram pattern as the classic louis vuitton monogram accessories, except that the "LV" becomes a "DB.")
they're extremely popular because they hit a sweet spot in price. they're priced below most luxury brands, but they're priced high enough that they have some sort of cachet among suburban consumers.
